DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Constructability Review Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to provide scheduling support for the district, encompassing a range of tasks. One of your key duties will involve assisting in the development of pre-bid schedules for District Highway Project proposals. This will require working closely with the project design team to ensure the inclusion of accurate and comprehensive schedules. Additionally, you will be expected to attend MPT concurrence meetings during the design phase. This will provide you with valuable insights into the project's scope and anticipated phasing, allowing you to contribute to the construction schedule discussions. Another important aspect of your role will be attending and actively participating in pre-bid schedule meetings during the design phase. By collaborating with the project design team, you will help facilitate the development of pre-bid schedules for District Highway Project proposals. Lastly, you will also be required to attend project status meetings as and when necessary. This will enable you to address any project schedule concerns and provide updates on the status of ongoing projects. Your expertise in identifying potential schedule issues will be crucial to ensuring the smooth progress of district highway projects.

Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or
Successful completion of the Civil Engineer Trainee training program (commonwealth title); orOne year of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; orFour years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an engineer-in-training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline.Necessary Special Requirement:This position requires possession of a valid driver's license.
