Argus Consulting is seeking qualified individuals to fill an entrylevel Civil Engineer position in our Overland Park, KS and Atlanta,GA offices.Projects include fueling systems for commercial airports, railcompanies and military installations worldwide and cover a broadspectrum in size, ranging from small operations tomulti-million-dollar fuel storage and distribution facilities.Clients include airlines, airports, fixed-base operators, railroads,the U.S. government, ENRs Top 25 Architecture/Engineering DesignFirms and ENRs Top 10 Design/Build Firms, Fortune 500 companies,fuel-servicing companies, and oil companies.Be an owner. Bachelors degree required in civil engineering from accreditedprogram.Candidates will have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam orare able to do so in the first year of employment.Capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge ofprinciples and practices to broad civil engineering tasks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.Working knowledge of AutoCAD and use of reference files a plus.Civil 3D experience a plus.Job Duties May Include:
Provide development of multi-discipline engineering designstrategies, studies, drawings and specifications for theconstruction of aviation (military and commercial), rail, oil andgas and industrial projects.Infrastructure design: site planning and layout, survey, siteutilities (storm/sanitary/water/containment drainage/fuel/etc.),pavements, equipment slabs, industrial waste collection andtreatment, etc.Duties will include coordination with clients, productioncoordination with other Argus employees, communication withsubconsultants, and assisting with the permit review process.EO/AA Employer/Disabled/Veterans
