Description:

　　Our client is a new entity that was formed after engineers purchased the assets of the Federal Projects Division of a civil engineering and surveying firm that serves public-and private-sector clients in land development consulting. They are a certified woman-owned small business. The company retains its complement of 12 engineers and technical specialists, along with more than 40 active projects in the Washington metropolitan area.

　　The Civil Engineer is responsible for creating site designs alongside other Engineers and Project Managers on various site design projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

　　The engineer will perform non-routine design assignments requiring basic and complex design calculations.

　　They will also be responsible for complete detailed construction drawings with supervision from the Project Manager.

　　Will be supporting the construction document production of land development projects (commercial sized buildings). This is going to include land development, site utility design, storm water management, and storm water drainage. There may be some transportation as well.

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　BS Degree in Civil Engineering

　　1-2+ years of experience in civil engineering (land development projects preferred)

　　Proficiency/Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D

　　EIT certification is preferred

　　Experience with design and putting together site plans
