About the Role:
The Child Outpatient Clinician is responsible for providing clinicalservices to meet the customer service, quality and overall goals ofRutland Mental Health Services. Meet the program\'s uniquely-definedinternal/external compliance standards and performance measures. Developand maintain close working relationships with internal/externalprofessional staff to provide quality coordinated services. Providedirect service to clients and families. Services shall include, but arenot limited to clinical assessment, treatment planning, service planningand coordination, community supports and individual, family and grouppsychotherapy sessions. Provide appropriate professional developmentleadership and training to clinical and other agency staff as defined byChild and Family Outpatient Program Manager.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of all billable and non-billable service anddocumentation in the EHR.
- Discuss all cases in supervision including more rapid access forclient and family situations where there is a risk of harm, abuse orneglect, a major traumatic event, a change of legal status, criminalbehavior or relevant ethical issues.
- Provides volume of clinical services per week as defined by Child andFamily Outpatient Program Manager.
- Maintains caseload size as defined by Child and Family OutpatientProgram Manager.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Master\'s level Human Service degree required.
- Vermont State license required after 5 years (Rostering allowed perOPR rule)
- Experience in psychological treatment of adults, children andfamilies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflictresolution skills with the ability to appropriately utilize supervisionas needed.
- Able to work independently, part of a team and exercise mature andprofessional judgment.
- Capable of being a self-starter and ability to coordinate multipleprojects at once.
- Flexible, adaptable and have the capability to work in a fast paced,professional environment.
- Proficient using computer and necessary software as well asexperience with navigating an Electronic Medical
- Record to complete client documentation.
- Must have a valid driver\'s license, reliable transportation withpersonal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levelsmandated by the State of Vermont.
- *Successful completion of a criminal history background check afterhire.
