  CHILD CARE ASSISTANT

  Springfield, Missouri

  Summary:

  As a Child Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 0-12. You'll work closely with our team to create age-appropriate lesson plans, facilitate activities, and foster positive relationships with children and their families. Our ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care and education.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Create a warm and welcoming environment for children and families

  Implement lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development

  Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed

  Engage with children and families, building strong relationships and providing ongoing support

  Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders

  Keep accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities

  Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

  Qualifications:

  High school diploma or equivalent

  One to three months of related experience and/or training

  Ability to pass a background check (including criminal history, abuse/neglect, and driving record)

  Completion of New Hire Orientation and annual training requirements

  Current certification in CPR (adult, child, and infant), First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens
