If you are a dynamic individual whothrives on shaping a collaborative work environment, apply now..Technical StewardshipWorks with Operations, Technology Services, and the Discipline TechnicalLeads to evaluate, deploy, and manage our technical tools and resources.Coordinates with business development, market leaders and operation managersto identify strategic AEC technology trends and skills to provide thetechnical staff the needed tools and training to meet market requirements.Report on the state of the business and practice and take feedback on meetingthe business needs of the enterprise and develop appropriate revisions orchanges within the technical practice to quickly adjust to market conditions.Steward of the firm's technical career path and development of our talent.Supports Communities of Practice (COP), ensures adequate training, andensures that the firm is properly developing and retaining our technicalstaff.Establishes, coordinates, and oversees the company technical papers andpresentations plan, budgets, and awards. Works with Corporate Marketing toidentify related publication and presentation opportunities.Provides senior level technical expertise on major projects and is arecognized authority in their respective engineering discipline. Representsthe company as a technical authority on a national basis.Works with the Discipline Technical Leads, establishes and maintains acompanywide database of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).Oversees, coordinates, and reports on technical education programsconducted by the Discipline Technical Leads.Quality ProgramEstablishes quality assurance programs and standards for the company ensuringa robust and consistent program across the markets to develop and maintainguides, quality management manuals, quality practices and processes,conduct project reviews, perform quality audits, keep guide specs up todate, implement design software piloting and training, and other QA/QCbased functions. Updates and revises QA/QC processes and procedures asnecessaConduct appropriate technical training for quality assurance throughout thecompany.Develop, implement, and maintain an audit program in concert with theInternal Auditor to verify program execution and proper maintenance of recordsand documents/files.Coordinates work in process and post project QA/QC audits and reviews.Institutes remedial action for deficient QA/QC.Works with the Senior Leadership Team to establish data collection protocolsto ensure that trends on quality assurance audit findings, key projectmetrics (change order trends, cost estimating accuracy, etc.) andother pertinent data is available to the organization to drive and measurecontinuous improvement, and identify priorities, in quality management.Technical Risk ManagementSits on the firm's Risk Management Committee and advise on technical risksand appropriate mitigation.Participates in contract reviews and pricing.Collaborates with Legal team related to any claim or liability issue toidentify the appropriate technical experts to evaluate and support ourinvestigation and identify solutions.Works with the Safety Committee to ensure that appropriate safety standardsare set and practiced throughout the execution of each project.Continuous ImprovementInvestigates new and emerging technologies in the AEC space for applicationinto company work products.Leads efforts to implement new, more efficient processes into our technicalareas of practice.Keeps abreast of cutting-edge advancements and demonstrate dedication toexcellence.Leadership QualitiesHigh integrity and ethics.Results oriented, problem solver, strategic thinker, and planner.Good balance of detail orientation and strategic acumen.Driven to help profitably grow company.Collaborative and inclusive leader.Strong cultural engagement and relationship builder internally and externally.Effectively communicate complex technical issues at all levels.Motivated to develop and mentor people.Proven ability to lead and develop a strong team.Self-motivated, confident, good listener and advisor.Professional Experience, Strengths, Capabilities and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in related Engineering field.
