　　Seeking an experienced PRN Certified Surgical Technologists for our Donor Care Operating Room. The Donor Care Operating Room partners with Tennessee Donor Services to provide dedicated care for organ recovery.

　　Now offering Enhanced PRN plans with scheduling flexibility and generous pay! Our Donor Care Unit & Operating Room will provide care to donors/families with a multidisciplinary team of ICU/Specialty trained RNs, Respiratory Therapists, OR Staff, Chaplains and Physicians. They will work side-by-side with the Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) Team to continue supporting their gift of the donation of life.

　　Responsibilities

　　Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

　　Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.

　　Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.

　　Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

　　Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure / Certification / Registration:

　　BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

　　Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Per Tennessee Code (TCA) 68-57-101(a), non-certified applicants must have 18 months of surgical technologist experience in the 3 years preceding 5/21/07; or began the appropriate surgical technologist training prior to 5/21/07 and completed by 5/21/10.

　　High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Why Join Our Team
