JOB REQUIREMENTS: ***\$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE*** TheSurgical Technician provides technical assistance to the physicianduring surgical and diagnostic procedures. This person preparesinstruments, stocks the operating room, and monitors equipment before,during and after surgery. The Surgical Technician has an understandingof the procedure being performed, provides patient care to the surgicalpatients under supervision of the registered nurse and works closelywith OR staff to provide comprehensive quality patient care. TheSurgical Technician follows proper infection control practices and useof personal protective equipment. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with call expectations of 1 day per week, every 4thweekend rotation and 1-2 holiday calls per year. RequiredQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of a SurgicalTechnician program, eligible for certification (to become certifiedwithin six months of hire) BLS certification Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year directly related experience is preferred but willingto consider new graduates.
