Maxim Healthcare Staffingis partnered with a hospital operated by the Department of Public Health (DPH).They are seeking attentive and caring Nursing Assistants (NA) for full timepositions who are passionate about building meaningful relationships and havethe ability to provide outstanding care and service to our patient population.The ideal candidates will assist in the daily living routine of our residents,assess and communicate changes in condition and recommend solutions in care andservice, under the direction of a professional nurse.
Please Note: There are full time(32 or 40 hours per week) positions available with rotating days off and everyother weekend required. The shifts are:
1st Shift (7:00AM to 3:30PM), working every other weekend withdays off as assigned.
2nd Shift (3:00PM to 11:30PM), working every other weekend withdays off as assigned

Pay Rate: $23/hr for 1st shiftand $25/hr for 2nd shift
POSITIONDESCRIPTION:
· Provide direct care to residents and assist withactivities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming,mobility, incontinence care, dressing, feeding and other services of support.
· Record resident vital signs, weights andmeasurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information asassigned.
· Accompany patients to appointments andrecreational activities.
· Assist nurses and physicians with exams or treatments,including turning and positioning of patients, draping, and use of safetymeasures as necessary.
· Review resident chart and participate incollecting data needed for the accurate completion of the Nursing Care Plan;provide input to the assigned nurse for continued plan development.
· Recognize urgent or emergency patient caresituations; seek assistance of the nursing staff and/or physician on duty.
· Establish supportive relationships with patientsand their families to promote positive interactions; incorporate the missionand philosophy of the hospital.
· Develop and promote a safe environment forquality client care through adherence of established policies, procedures, andstandards.
· Participate in in-services and daily/weeklystaff meetings as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to follow written/oral instructions andgather information through observation and questioning individuals.
· Talent for working in a team setting or groupsituation.
· Skilled in interacting with people who are underphysical and/or emotional stress.
· Current, active certification as a Nurse Aide inthe Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
· Ability to establish effective relationshipswith individuals, families, and team members.
· Demonstrated attention to detail with readinessto respond appropriately when needed.
· Capacity to maintain accurate records andexercise discretion in handling confidential information.
