Job Posting Summary
Mercy University seeks a Center Director for the Hispanic Mothers of NY-Training Research Center (HiMNY-RTC) Grant. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the HiMNY Center, confidential documentation management and working closely with the Principal Investigators, federal contacts, HiMNY Scholars and Fellows, and partners involved in the grant functions. This is a hybrid position.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities (I n collaboration with principal Investigators):
Ensure Center meets local, state, and Federal (HRSA) requirements.
Collaborate with center staff to develop effective curriculum.
Maintain timely and accurate records of all Grant related activities.
Establish and maintain relationships with community partners.
Maintaining relationships with Fellows, Scholars, and other key stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction with the program.
Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all HRSA requirements.
Provide leadership to key personnel in developing and implementing the grant plan.
Managing budgetary expenses.
Update and maintain website to reflect dissemination activities.
Collaborate on the implementation of the grant plan for the HiMNY Center.
Ensure quarterly and annual reports are completed in a timely manner and uploaded on the HRSA EHB Website.
Assist with quarterly and annual performance reports to explain in detail how the goals and objectives have been met, or are being met, as well as any changes that have been made to enhance our Grant performance. This report also includes the expectation of progress for the remaining portion of the federal fiscal year and preparing those for the following year’s Annual Performance Report.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
Interest or experience in the topic of maternal mental health and health disparities research
Proficiency in operating computer and job-related software programs.
High critical reasoning for decision making and problem solving.
Acumen in interpersonal relations.
E xcellent oral and written communication. Individuals who are bilingual and fluent in Spanish will be given special consideration.

Master's degree required

Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies
Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.
