  About the Role & Team

  Are you interested in being a significant part of events at the most magical place on Earth? The Celebrations and Events team creates experiences for our guests in the realm of life celebrations, local corporate and more!

  What You Will Do

  As a Sales Coordinator, you will provide support to the Sales Managers by handling daily administrative and clerical duties while also providing client support with Meeting and Convention Ticket products, as well as event planning and execution. You can expect to engage with first time Guests and repeat Guests who have a stay or event activation in any one of our Resorts, Convention Centers, Theme Parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Water Parks, Disney Springs, and other event venues. Collaboration, organization, communication, and the ability to multi-task are keys to success with this high volume, fast paced Team. Partners include, but are not limited to Disney Official and Great Neighbor Resorts, Orange County Convention Center Sales and Services, Visit Orlando Sales and Destination Services, Disney Event Group, Resort Sales, Group Reservations, Resort Operations, Park Event Operations, Group System Support, Transportation, and Security.

  This role reports to the Senior Sales Manager-Celebrations & Events

  On any day, you will:

  Handle basic group contact requests and answer questions about admission ticket options, creative events and function space, general resort or park information, event venues, etc.

  Drive revenue by providing clients with Theme Park Ticket options, bulk ticket orders and private event solutions and enhancements

  Support two or more Senior Sales Managers with client site visits, schedules, expense reports and additional tasks as assigned

  Timely and accurate completion of assigned projects and administrative activities / tasks

  Create Disney Event Group, Food & Beverage and/or Dinner Show agreements and deposit schedules

  Provide accurate data documentation for deposit collection

  Maintain The Walt Disney Company standards of safety, professional and personal

  Represent The Walt Disney Company with the highest level of professionalism at all times

  Required Qualifications & Skills

  Knowledge of Group Markets, Meeting and Convention Tickets, Catering / Banquets, Conventions, Resorts Rooms and Events

  Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work, nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedules and needs

  Exceptional ability to respond and resolve inquiries in a high volume, fast paced environment

  Self-motivation to know when to take alternate action to improve efficiency and work independently

  Excellent communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written

  Problem solving skills, organizational skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

  A passion for outstanding guest service and have at least 6 months’ work experience responding and recovering complicated guest concern issues

  Team focus to support your co-workers as needed, share best practices and maintain close partnerships with Cast Members from other lines of businesses

  Computer proficiency within a Windows environment while being able to adapt to new software

  Preferred Qualifications

  Proficiency with Meeting Matrix, Siebel, DSCS Systems, and Bolt (or equivalents)

  Knowledgeable of Walt Disney World event function space in Resorts, Theme Parks, and other facilities.

  Negotiation skills and influencing abilities

  Food & Beverage and/or Resort Rooms experience
