DESCRIPTION:Primarily responsible for driving a company truck and assisting with the delivery and installation of Governors Houses in South Dakota. The Governors House Program is funded by SD Housing, and provides the opportunity for inmates at the Mike Durfee State Prison to build low-cost, low-maintenance, energy efficient homes for income qualified individuals and families.

　　QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess excellent customer service and and trade skills; experience working with a variety of clients; basic knowledge of State and Federal DOT vehicle requirements, rules, and regulations; experience with hydraulic jacks, metal beams and other heavy equipment; and the ability to communicate professionally. Home transport experience a plus. Successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED or a combination of three years of related education and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have good driving record and Class A CDL.

　　LOCATION:Statewide, SD (Must be able to travel to Springfield to retrieve house and deliver within the state)

　　STARTING SALARY:$22.14 to $24.90 per hour depending upon experience.

　　BENEFITS: SD Housing pays 100 percent of employees health, dental and vision insurance plus a percentage of family coverage. Option for employer contributed Health Savings Account. Additionally, paid family leave, eleven paid holidays, and accrual of 15 vacation and 14 sick days annually. Participation in a state retirement plan with SD Housing matching 6% and the option to contribute to supplemental retirement.
