SUMMARY: Yard Spotter – Class A CDL driver, is responsible for providing and removing trailers from the shipping dock and insure trailers are kept running at the correct temperature while sitting on the lot.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

Moves trailers from the dock doors to drop yard, moves warehouse trailers as needed, moves icepack trailers as needed.

Must maintain a safe working environment.

Inspects trailer and document condition.

Work closely with incoming drivers and direct them to the proper door for loading and unloading.

Must maintain ALL trailers under lock and key while setting on the lot.

Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard truck/tractor each day and report any issues.

Safely back in and pull out Trailers as needed.

Must be willing to work other shifts if needed.

Education and Experience: CDL License
