　　Job Summary

　　Summary: Supports the Catering Department with servicing events to include set up, transportation and breakdown of equipment.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Assists with set up, transportation, execution and breakdown for catering services throughout the facility (Austin Convention Center and Palmer Event Center).

　　Walks and Stands during entire shift.

　　Ability to lift and push up to 40 lbs.

　　Maintains service areas.

　　Communicates guest issues to management.

　　Employs good safety and sanitation practices.

　　Adheres to Company policies as stated in handbook.

　　Follows Responsible Alcohol Service policies.

　　Thoroughly completes all station set up and breakdown responsibilities.

　　Completes all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

　　Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment.

　　Displays a positive attitude towards fellow team members.

　　Helps fellow team members whenever necessary

　　Arrives to scheduled shift on time, in proper uniform and ready to perform all required duties.

　　Job Requirements:

　　English reading and writing skills

　　Ability to communicate with managers, fellow team members and guests by speaking and understanding English.

　　Ability to work event-based schedule to include very early arrival times

　　Reliable and self-motivated.

　　Previous experience in catering and banquet services is desirable.

　　TABC Certification

　　Texas Food Handler Certification
