About the role
We have a unique opportunity within our stellar TPB EMEA Marketing team for a Category Insights Manager. Reporting to the Strategic Category & Insights Controller this role will be responsible for growing the category and TPB priority brands with our strategic partners through unlocking category growth opportunities by delivering objective and actionable insights. This role will use data to analyse shopper behaviour, the retail environment and category dynamics to deliver insights that help to inform business decisions across sales and marketing.
This role will be pivotal in providing the wider sales and marketing function with the voice of the customer to support the team to develop robust plans that meet retailer opportunities
Here are just some of the responsibilities you will have as our Category Insights Manager:
Use data expertise to undertake market analysis that fuels a step-change relationship with our key strategic partners and priority brands and provide proactive insights that support TPB to understand performance drivers – at a brand / retailer level
Support the commercial planning process utilising category management tools and processing to meet key deliverables.
Support the implementation of category management training for sales channels
Proactively review & update customers on category performance & trends.
Work with relevant teams to understand drivers of sales performance & relevant ‘so whats’.
In collaboration with wider marketing team to link the marketing strategies with category insights to build compelling presentations for key retailers.
Support Global and regional brands team understand the brand dynamics & market forces to build stronger, more engaging plans.
About you
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in Category Management, Insight or Data analysis function, ideally within an FMCG environment.
Analytical skills and ability to turn insight into action
Evidence of ability to influence at senior management level
Ability to problem solve & demonstration of improving business processes
Strong collaboration & cross function working.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals
Strong presentation skills
