　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　Under the direct supervision of the O.R. Logistics Manager, promotes and assures the efficient functioning of the Operating Room by pulling required soft goods, supplies, and instruments in accordance with the surgeon preference cards to place onto the case carts. Reviews and updates preference cards for accuracy and timeliness of surgical cases. Ensures all instruments and supplies are in the appropriate case cart. Acts as a liaison between the Sterile Processing Department and the Operating Room for the selection of the correct instruments pertaining to each case cart. Works collaboratively with the Sterile Processing Department to retrieve missing items for surgical cases. Returns any unused equipment to the Sterile Processing Department. Responsible for storage and restocking of surgical supplies in the Operating Rooms.

　　EDUCATION:

　　High School Diploma required.REQUIREMENTS:

　　One to two years of Operating Room experience required.

　　Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification required.

　　Operating Room case knowledge required (i.e. Orthopedics, Podiatry, Thoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Breast, General Surgery, and Urology).

　　Must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

　　Successful completion of all orientation programs.
