  Pay:$22.10 per hour

  Job responsibilities: The CTR Specialist is responsible for providing career transition readiness placement and follow-up services to graduates.

  Essential functions:

  Act as the principal point of contact for students during transition, placement and follow-up as appropriate

  Initiate transitional support referrals to off-center CTS specialist and other community agencies

  Contact employers, NTC representatives, and one-stop centers to arrange for interviews and other activities to promote initial placement

  Provide referrals for services as needed; document in the automated case management system

  Develop individual transition and placement plans using the PCDP. Develop and conduct employment readiness workshops.

  Education and Experience Requirements:

  Bachelors degree or 4 years experience working with youth and 1 year experience in sales, marketing, or counseling related services required

  Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth programs.

  A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
