Description The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound imaging in both the i-Health office setting and outreach sites. This is a part-time position working 3 days per week from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm out of the Preventative Cardiology Clinic in Edina, MN. Days are yet to be determined. Essential Functions: Perform echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms Answer patient questions about procedures and/or equipment Ability to perform data entry and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ensure equipment stays functional and reliable Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Two-year degree in non-invasive cardiology Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting Credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) BLS certification Experience with the Philips CX-50 Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
