　　Capital Group's Strategy & Innovation (S&I) team partners closely with the Management Committee and leadership teams to identify, frame, research, and take action against the key strategic business questions that shape how we continue to deliver on Capital Group's vision and mission. Our mandate is to think boldly, act nimbly, and test new ideas. Our work involves strategy, idea incubation, market intelligence, and operations. The team's recent work (in partnership with others across Capital Group) includes:

　　Developing Capital Group's firm-wide multi-year strategic planAssessing and prioritizing new product and client segment growth opportunities for large-scale investmentDeveloping the strategy for our international expansion effortsIncubating Capital Group's first ESG products and developing the go-to-market strategy

　　As a Strategy & Innovation Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on Capital Group's top strategic priorities in a collaborative team setting while building experience in corporate strategy and asset management. The work will be intellectually challenging with opportunity for significant business impact.

　　You will have a high level of responsibility and own key modules on strategy projectsYou will conduct rigorous research, drive high quality analysis, and distill strategic insightsYou will develop and present materials that frame strategically relevant context, logical fact-based recommendations, and trade-offs to senior business leadersYou will partner with senior business leaders and interface with other teams throughout Capital GroupYou will collaborate on a wide range of strategic efforts that the S&I team is engaged on across business units and markets

　　The deadline to apply for this position is Thursday, January 4, 2024. First round interviews will take place during the week of January 8-12. Final round interviews will be scheduled during the week of January 22-26. All interviews will be conducted virtually. Offers will be extended by January 31.

　　In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
