Business Project Specialist is an experienced project management and financial professional that takes a crucial role in shaping the financial landscape of the organization and gets holistic grasp of the entire business. The role acts as a "right hand" to the Head of Finance by driving business projects and effectively collaborating with different stakeholders.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Deliver important business projects and provide financial transparency across the company.
• Support decision-making processes through detailed financial analysis together with risks and opportunities monitoring that may impact financial results.
• Monitor projects performance against set objectives and take corrective measures as required to manage performance and outcome.
• Provide accurate and complete financial information and present it in a comprehensive way to the key stakeholders.
• Engage and collaborate proactively with variety of teams to understand their needs and provide support throughout the business projects.
• Provide support on business projects for Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia with effort of up to 20%,
• Timely preparation of month-end close operational activities.
• Participate in other tasks needed to ensure successful operations and sustainable growth of the company.
• Ensure full compliance with all Novartis regulations regarding, financial reporting, Business Process Controls (BPC), Data Privacy, Quality and other internal regulations on Integrity and Compliance.

• Quality, timeliness, completion and execution of all business projects, plans, budgets, forecasts, etc.
• Quality of analytics, insights, recommendations, and presentations.
• Managing risks and opportunities effectively
• Internal customer satisfaction with quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of financial analyses provided.
• Compliance to highest ethical standards.

Role Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Minimum degree acceptable: University degree in Business, Finance or Economics
• Desirable degrees: MBA, ACCA, CIMA
• Languages: Fluent in English and Bulgarian (written and spoken)
• Required positions: 3-5 years of experience in Project Management / Business Planning / Commercial Finance at major international companies.
• Ideal experience: Experience in Project Management / Business Planning / Commercial Finance in pharmaceutical industry with record of increasing responsibility in business scope
• Other: Mobility is recommended
