Responsibilities
This position provides the opportunity and environment for an individual to develop broad, comprehensive knowledge and experience, in a plant environment, of the overall business, including but not limited to: safety, manufacturing processes and products, supervision, process improvement, engineering, finance, special projects, etc. An individual must demonstrate the competencies and potential for progressing into targeted job opportunities. The individual in this role may participate in capital planning development and / or evaluation, monitor manufacturing performance, focus on business optimization activities, drive process improvement, data systems and capital planning for the Wood Products Division that achieves Boise Improvement Cycle (BIC) objectives. The individual in this role will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
College degree in engineering, business, or equivalent work experience in related job function. The position requires analytical skills and will have a major role in our improvement cycle process. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications to include Word and Excel.
