The Business Operations - Compliance Analyst serves a key role in various areas to implement business compliance policies and procedure, identify compliance risk and apply or develop preventive measures to ensure compliance. Analyst will also be involved in the sales cycle – partnering with sales, sales operations, finance, and other back-office teams to structure, create, review, and approve deals/contracts and expenses. This role offers a wide exposure to all aspects and areas of the growing cloud business – great opportunity for candidates of varying levels of experience.on business practices and processes.
Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interprets, implements, and administers compliance policies, procedures and practices to ensure proper risk mitigation for all areas of the NetSuite Customer Success business, in adherence with Oracle standards
Investigates and drives efforts to resolve identified compliance issues and assesses the effectiveness of mitigation strategies
Liaises/builds relationships with and supports collaboration between the Customer Success Operations Managers/Team, other Customer Success teams, Sales, Business/Consulting Operations and Finance to ensure all goals and objectives are met
Maintain working knowledge of company compliance standards and policies
Update and/or execute on new compliance policies as required
Coordinate, communicate, and working effectively with customers, internal process owners, internal auditors, and all levels of management.
Execute project desk functions including, but not limited to contract research, deal structuring, business approvals, order requests for varying levels of deal size and complexity
Support Sales team with questions on deals, sales policies, and guidelines pricing/discounting
Manage assigned queues’ deal & request flow in alignment with priorities communicated by direct leadership
Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies. Be a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand complex sales issues.
Liaise between Sales teams, Sales & Professional Services Management, Finance, and Legal
Collaborate and build proactive, positive relationships with peers and manager to ensure consistency within processes, determine best practices, and work efficiently.
Ability to identify process improvements
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent or have at least 2 year(s) of working experience in IT Compliance or related field is required for this position
Must be a self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
An ability to operate independently with limited direction/supervision
Attention to details
Intermediate MS Word and MS Powerpoint skills required
Above Average MS Excel skills is required
Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience in a Consulting Compliance role is a plus
