The Business Development Representative will advance new marketing leads through a nurturing process and create opportunities for new business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential customers within the manufacturing industry.
Cold call potential clients to establish new business relationships.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.
Coordinate necessary quotations, drawings, and product data to progress through the sales process.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with sales process.
Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Associate or bachelor degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
Sales or customer service experience preferred.
Experience in SalesForce software preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 32 pounds unassisted.
