Position Overview:
This position acts as a liaison between business units and theEnterprise Data team while coordinating and leading the delivery of datasolutions projects of all sizes. Projects include new initiatives aswell as the maintenance and improvement of existing data initiatives.The incumbent must be able to quickly grasp business concepts andfacilitate discussions to identify high level business requirements andneeds.
Essential Functions:
Analyzes business needs and consults with management and teammembers to review project requests and determine goals, time frame,cost, staffing requirements, allocation of resources and developsbusiness cases.Formulates and defines the scope and objectives of engagement.Creates and executes test plans and test cases.Facilitates user acceptance testing.Prepares status reports and communicates status and related issuesto engagement stakeholders.Leads and manages project teams in the accomplishment of dataefforts.Facilitates meetings, provides guidance, sets priorities, organizeswork, gives direction and resolves problems.Works with team members across the organization to identify processimprovement opportunities while conducting duties as a Business DataAnalyst.Collaborates with the Process Consultant team to pursue dataenhancements supporting process improvement initiatives.Creates effective user stories, develops and maintains businessrequirements, acceptance criteria and test cases following Agilemethodology.Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor\'s degree in math, finance, computer or data science,business management, management information systems or informationsystems or related field or an equivalent combination of educationand experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of thejob.3-5 years of data experience, preferably in a financial servicesenvironment.Knowledge of Microsoft applications and other applications/softwareused in the daily functions of the organization (i.e. SQL Server).Basic understanding of designing, creating, and implementing reportsand dashboards.Knowledge of process improvement, project management systems, andagile development.Advanced organizational, verbal/written communication, projectcoordination and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently.Critical thinking skills, high level of initiative, attention todetail and accuracy.Proven client service skills and effective team skills.Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Who is Compeer Financial?
