  Salary range for position:

  $26.94 - $37.75 Hourly

  $2,154.92 - $3,020.31 Biweekly

  $4,669.00 - $6,544.00 Monthly

  The purpose of this work unit is to implement and support the new Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance program and provisions, ensuring all Colorado workers have access to paid leave in order to take care of themselves or their family during life circumstances that pull them away from their jobs. This program works with important areas for FAMLI, such as: Customer Contact Center, Branch Managers and teams, Policy, Communications, Technical teams for Premiums, Benefits and Data Management, Office of Information Technology, Finance, Budget, Human Resources, Customer Success teams, and many other areas and vendors.

  As a Business Analyst, this position partners with the Senior Business Analyst on business processes and documentation. Areas of work will be within the business process and inventory supporting the processes to identify, document, design, and map processes within the FAMLI Division. This position is required to understand all of the Division’s programs, units, teams, and impacts process needs and to identify and provide recommendations to meet business needs. This position uses their business analysis experience to model current and future state business processes using techniques like flowcharts and data flow diagrams within the work units of the Division. In working in these areas, a leading objective is to embody and create exceptional customer service and customer success while meeting the needs of the Division's high-profile program for the State of Colorado. The position will collaborate with stakeholders within FAMLI and across CDLE, to help identify requirements for new areas and/or changes to existing internal programs. A positive demeanor with timely and professional team and stakeholder engagement is required. In this position the ability to partner with key leadership in innovative and collaborative methods is essential.

  This position will work in partnership and under the guidance of the Senior Business Analyst to create and update roadmaps, workflows, structures and systems, and maintain logs of work that need to be completed. This position may work with entities to identify the most efficient and effective ways for working, while keeping all key objectives in focus.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  Substitutions:

  Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis such as professional a nalysis of business processes, data interpretation and of policies in order to provide process development.

  Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.

  AND

  Two years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position such as professional a nalysis of business processes , data interpretation and of policies in order to provide process development.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Must hold a high level of accountability

  Has intrapersonal skills to efficiently work with other units

  Understands objectives and meets timelines

  Bilingual Preferred in the Spanish language (Read, write, speak) - Not Required
