Amentum is hiring a Budget Analyst to support an Army program office at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD .

　　* * This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule and requires a minimum of 2 days onsite work a week. This is not a remote position. **

　　Responsibilities:

　　Formulate annual and multi-year budget estimates and maintain operating budgets.

　　Compile narrative and statistical material and prepare exhibits and related background information for Program briefings.

　　Monitor the execution of the approved operating budget to assure funds are properly allocated and are being obligated and spent in a timely and effective manner for documents needed to process budget estimates.

　　Exercise budget controls through review and approval of the obligation and expenditure of funds.

　　Monitoring the execution of the approved operating budget to assure funds are properly allocated and are being obligated and spent.

　　Prepare and process reimbursable and direct-cite Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR), Procurement Work Directives (PWDs), and Direct Charges for PM TN programs.

　　Prepare documents needed to process budget estimates, requests for supplemental appropriations, requests for reprogramming apportionments, and allotments needed to finance new programs or program changes brought about by legislative action.

　　Recommend adjustments within budget line items in response to changes in programs, staffing levels and/or funds availability.

　　Performs an in-depth analysis of budget requests, considers unforeseen factors in development and production, shifts in project direction and emphasis and/or requests not included in planned programs and explores alternative sources of funding.

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s degree, and at least 7 years of experience in providing budgetary support to a Department of Defense (DoD) program/activity.

　　Or a High School Diploma/GED, and at least 11 years of overall work experience, of which 5 years must be relevant experience in providing budgetary support to a Department of Defense (DoD) program/activity.

　　Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

　　Must be able to travel up to 25% is possible based on program needs.

　　Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience or familiarity with DoD Program Acquisition.

　　Experience in utilization of General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)

　　Experience with SharePoint.
