HOLYOKE Branch Manager OVERVIEW: Guided by our Core Values, the BranchManager will be responsible for the achievement of goals, customerservice, operations, and team development in their respective branch,and contributing to the achievement of the Bank\'s mission statement.Responsible for assisting with the development and retention of ahigh-performing team through leadership and coaching in all aspects ofgoals, communication, service, and operational excellence. Responsiblefor overseeing all of the daily branch functions, participating in thehiring process, developing, and maintaining a branch team, and overallcustomer experience. Proactively participates in business prospectingand relationship building activities to foster new relationships and todeepen existing ones. Performs supervisory and administrative functionsto ensure the ongoing effectiveness of branch operations in conformancewith established Bank policies and procedures. Demonstrates leadership,accountability, dependability, professionalism, teamwork, and excellentcommunication skills in every interaction. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES /RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs any functions necessary within the scope ofauthority and expertise, to provide the highest levels of customerservice and responsiveness to our customers. Superior Service QualityEffectively utilize decision-making skills, within establishedauthorization guidelines, to support valuable customer retention.Recognize and pursue opportunities to enhance relationships, products,services, practices, and the organization\'s competitive position withinthe market place. Promote collaboration and communication with all otherdepartments to achieve customer and employee satisfaction. Project apositive tone of appreciation for the contributions of otherdepartments\' team members. Proactively participate in communitynetworking opportunities and routinely visit potential and existingbusiness clients to foster new relationships or deepen existingrelationships. Lending Interview and take applications for all consumerand home equity loans/lines, where applicable. Close consumer and homeequity loans/lines. Ensure appropriate team members are knowledgeable tointerview/take applications and close loans. Refer mortgages andrefinances to branch\'s Mortgage Originator, but may also assistcustomers in entering online mortgage applications in absence ofMortgage Originator. Maintain a strong knowledge of our consumer andhome equity products (where applicable), regulations, and processes.Ensure appropriate team members also maintain strong knowledge in theseareas as well. Leadership and People Management Participate in thehiring process. Observe and coach the entire branch team. Maintain openlines of communication with the branch team and ensure timelycommunication of pertinent information. Be innovative and offer newideas on current processes/routines. Develop, implement, and manage adetailed performance plan for both the individual employees and thebranch including team and individual goals. Operations and ComplianceEnsure compliance with the Federal and State laws as well as the Bank\'spolicies and procedures. Assist with the completion of required periodicaudits, month-end reports, and inventories in a timely manner. Overseebranch security detailed in the HFG security manual and ensure branchstaff compliance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate degree orsimilar course work/training 5-7 years customer service experience/salesexperience 5-7 years supervisory experience. Must have demonstratedsuccess in leading, coaching, managing, and motivating others Prior BankBranch Manager experience Fluency in a second language is a plusFamiliarity in the Holyoke market is a plus
