Description A permanent opportunity has become available with one of Robert Half's clients for a bookkeeper. Organized and self-driven accounting professionals might want to consider this Bookkeeper role if they enjoy working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. The Bookkeeper is in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end closing. Apart from this, the Bookkeeper will maintain journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. 　　Responsibilities

　　Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

　　Maintain monthly accounting close

　　Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

　　Extra unique tasks if required

　　File cash flow projections, as needed

　　Competent in credit card management and reconciliation

　　Familiar with Accounts Receivable

　　Look after Accounts Payable

　　Retain a general ledger

　　Maintains sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments

　　Support monthly accounting close Requirements - Administrative experience experience

　　Automated Payroll experience

　　Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

　　Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredExcellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

　　Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

　　Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

　　Ability to meet deadlines

　　Highly organized and self-motivated

　　Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
