We are seeking a Board Certified Chaplain who will serve patients, families, and team members in the Emergency Department and in acute care units at Morton Plant Hospital, a 599 bed community hospital in Clearwater, FL.

　　This position at our Morton Plant Hospital is a hybrid position where this chaplain will cross cover both Palliative and Spiritual Care.

　　Position details:

　　Location: Clearwater, FL

　　Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

　　Shift Hours: Varies

　　Weekend Work: Occasional

　　On Call: Yes

　　The Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) is a full clinical member of the health care team and is considered the lead expert in Spiritual Care issues. Responsibilities include:

　　Provides services for the pastoral/spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members.

　　Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.

　　Required Certification:

　　NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains)

　　or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains)

　　or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains)

　　Required Education:

　　Master's Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related. 4 units, 1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education.Required - Ecclesiastical endorsement

　　Experience:

　　Required 2 years Healthcare in related field

　　Preferred 3 years Healthcare in related field
