　　Position Summary:

　　We are seeking an experienced and skilled Power BI Report Developer with a strong focus on working within the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned expert in Power BI with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing impactful reports and visualizations. The candidate will play a crucial role in leveraging Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics as structured data sources to create insightful and actionable reports. The Power BI Report Developer will contribute to data governance and change control processes and excel in delivering high-quality presentations to internal stakeholders.

　　This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the BI Reporting and Development Manager.

　　What you will do:

　　Design, development, and deployment of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards using structured data from Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics.

　　Utilize DAX expertise to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs that provide meaningful insights to business users.

　　Implement row-level security measures within Power BI to ensure data confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.

　　Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize structured data models for enhanced report performance and user experience.

　　Manage Fabric capacity resources, monitor usage, and optimize performance to ensure efficient report rendering.

　　Participate in data governance initiatives and adhere to change control processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

　　Perform thorough data analysis, distill insights, and craft compelling data-driven narratives for effective storytelling.

　　Utilize advanced visualization techniques to create interactive and visually appealing reports that convey complex information clearly.

　　Present complex findings and reports to executive stakeholders in a clear, professional, and impactful manner.

　　Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance, data accuracy, and visualizations.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

　　Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and impactful reports.

　　Expertise in working with structured data from Tabular Models, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics as data sources.

　　Proficiency in writing complex DAX expressions and calculations to meet advanced reporting requirements.

　　Familiarity with Power BI security mechanisms.

　　Strong data modeling skills within Power BI, including structured data transformation and optimization.

　　Intermediate skills in Power BI Desktop, including using custom visuals, themes, and advanced interactivity.

　　Exceptional data analysis, storytelling, and visualization skills.

　　Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present to executive-level stakeholders.

　　Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, maintaining professionalism under pressure.

　　Scrum, Jira, or DevOps experience is a plus.

　　Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric/One Lake is a nice-to-have.

　　Relevant Power BI certifications (such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI) are a plus.

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

　　Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.

　　Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented fast paced environment.

　　Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.

　　Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.

　　Proficient in MS Office (including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, & Word), modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)

　　Physical Demands: Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

　　Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)

　　Keyboarding (70-90%)

　　Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone requiring close vision (70-90%)

　　Work Environment: 100% Remote: Work environment is indoors at home.
