The Institute of Living, one of the first mental health centers in the U.S., remains one of America’s leading not-for-profit centers for patient care, research and education in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric and addiction disorder. Through our dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, we provide patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services. _Program Details_ The Institute of Living offers a comprehensive network of residential programs for patients who do not require hospitalization, but still need support and structure as they move back into the community. The Todd House is a grant funded program of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Capitol Region Mental Health Center. _Job Summary_ Development of treatment plans for all Residential Clients in two programs. Serves as primary liaison/point of contact for collaborative community and clinical contacts. Responsible for the assisting in the professional development of residential staff in the area of clinical competency in all domains. Continuous assessment of treatment interventions and procedure to ensure clients are receiving the best, most effective care possible. * CT Licensed MSW -- OR -- * Master's degree with current Connecticut certification as an Alcohol/Drug Counselor (CADC) required * All are expected to be in the process of perusing licensure per credentialing requirements. * Excellent communication skills. * Demonstrates competencies, including knowledge and behaviors, to meet age specific patient needs. * Bilingual preferred.
