Job Description:

　　Seeking a basic care aide to serve our residents at Oak Crossing, our long-term care facility in Detroit Lakes. This is a casual, as-needed position, but does require a minimum of every other weekend. This aide is responsible to assist the licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal cares per individualized care plans to maintain the personal comfort of the resident as assigned. Works to maintain a clean, safe and organized environment for the residents. Assists with basic personal cares, including assistance in with meal setup and water pass. Provides activity and exercise for the residents as assigned. Assists residents in dealing with psychosocial needs. Responsible for observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor. Completes all required documentation in a complete and timely manner. May assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.

　　The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
