Responsibilities Responsibilities include assisting field team with implementation and observation of aviation construction projects; Various documentation and reporting for transportation related projects; field testing of construction materials and field measurements of various construction items; assist surveyors as needed. Travel to job sites will be required. Qualifications The successful candidate must have all of the following: At least 5 years of construction experience Associate's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Transportation Experience with interpreting plans and specifications for transportation related projects Experience in construction observation, and documentation A desirable candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Experience on aviation site development ASTM standard construction testing procedure experience Experience with grade measuring experience Experience working with State DOT and/or federal agencies such as FAA.
