　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Automotive Mechanic, you will perform maintenance and agency-specialized up fitting on vehicles. Duties include:Installing K-9 kennels, prisoner cages, gun racks, lighting, tactical boxes, fire brackets, decals, and slide boxes, both electrical and mechanical,Performing advanced vehicle diagnoses on all vehicle components including but not limited to drivetrains, steering, suspension, brakes, computers, fuel systems, and emissions,Checking for and performing pulse-code modulation (PCM) and transmission control module (TCM) updates as needed,Preparing new vehicles for department use, higher mileage vehicles for reassignment, and unserviceable vehicles for auction, andProviding technical support and feedback to aid in the research, design, and implementation new and customized products related to this process.Interested in learning more? 　　Full-time employment. 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,003.00 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
