Description

　　The expanding accounting department at Robert Half is looking to find qualified candidates to fill the role of an Audit Accountant. This Auditor position offers a remote work schedule. Candidate's must live in the state of Alabama to be considered for this Auditor role. In this position, your responsibilities will include data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. You will report to the Audit Manager, work with a dynamic team, and enjoy the opportunity for career growth. If you love Excel, have a positive attitude and are open to an entry-level accounting position, then this could be the job for you. For this contract to full-time position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting to be considered for this position.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Investigating and fixing account discrepancies

　　Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

　　Auditing property taxes, business license renewals and sales & use tax

　　Facilitating audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

　　Requirements

　　2-3+ years of accounting experience is required

　　BS/BA degree in Accounting required

　　Audit experience is highly preferred

　　Microsoft Word experience required

　　Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

　　Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

　　Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and task

　　High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
