Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Auditing Clerk to join our team in the retail food store industry, located in Irving, Texas, 75063, United States. As an Auditing Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory transactions, adjustments, and balances. Furthermore, you are expected to provide audit support for our inventory team and handle inquiries from store operators and field operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, transfers, and adjustments

• Scrutinize retail inventory balances and execute necessary adjustments

• Investigate inventory variances to pinpoint root causes

• Handle store operator and field operation inquiries and provide resolutions

• Perform ad-hoc duties as required

• Provide audit support for the inventory team, including reviewing and posting audit requests

• Examine audit remediation documents and make necessary corrections

• Utilize software such as Excel and Oracle to perform tasks efficiently and accurately. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat

• Familiarity with various Computer Programs

• Expertise in using Concur for expense management

• Proficient in Data Processing

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures and practices

• Comfortable in managing Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing
