A Place to Be Proud.Responsibilities* Provides evidence-based diagnostic evaluations to patients with varied medical complexity to determine type and degree of hearing sensitivity as well as site of lesion if applicable.* Recommends appropriate follow-up care including personal equipment technology when applicable (Hearing aid, Bone Conduction Devices and Cochlear Implants) and making appropriate referrals as needed to ensure a comprehensive care plan.* Educates on impact of hearing loss and importance of compliance with recommendations.* Documents as appropriate and in compliance with requirements of the hospital and accrediting associations and maintains the administrative functions of individual caseload, including scheduling, entering daily charges, and submitting timely documentation.* Attends continuing education programs and participates in departmental in-service training programs to enhance professional development including participation in EBP.* Conducts audiology educational programs for hospital staff, students, licensed audiologists, audiology aides, and unlicensed personnel, supervising care provided.QualificationsEducation Requirement: Doctorate of audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent (MA/MS with experience), preferred.Licensure Requirement: Must have a valid Ohio License in Audiology.Certifications:CPR certification must be received no later than 60 days post hire or 60 days post expiration.Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association or American Board of Audiology certification from the American Academy of Audiology, preferred.Experien
