Salary Range: \$18.00 Hourly Onwards POSITION SUMMARY The Audio-VisualTechnician is responsible for providing AV support for all programs,events, and meetings in addition to assisting with all elements ofclassroom set up. The AV tech is also responsible for determiningequipment needs and training end users on how to operate AV equipmentproperly and safely. Accountabilities - Set up classroom and AVequipment for all programs, events, and meetings. This includes, but isnot limited to, seating, yoga props and program supplies, installationand maintenance of microphones, speakers, display devices, projectors,televisions, video cameras, and computers. - Set-up and engineer liveconcerts. - Set-up and support livestream programs. - Provide AV systemtraining to faculty and assistants. - Anticipate the needs of facultyand guests and provide excellent customer service. - Understand andfollow AV procedures and workflows, completing tasks in a safe,accurate, and timely manner. - Effectively troubleshoot A/V issues. -Complete equipment inspection, repair and preventive maintenance asassigned. - Assist with inventory management and upkeep of AV shop. -Provide coverage or perform special projects and miscellaneous duties asassigned by management, within Production and in other areas of theorganization when needed. ESSENTIAL SKILLS ANDEXPERIENCE - Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention todetail - Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently -Excellent communication and customer service skill; Positive attitude -Takes initiative and follows through on directed projects MINIMALQUALIFICATIONS - Associate degree or equivalent experience operatingaudio-visual equipment for live events to include lectures, concerts andspecial programming. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand orwork on feet for extended periods - Must have a driver\'s license andpass a background check - Willingness to work evenings and weekendsessential VALUED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Priornon-profit experience. - Prior experience with live streamed events andweb-based meeting platforms.
