　　Attorney

　　Our client, a prominent and leading law firm that exclusively provide general and special counsel representation to Colorado’s special districts, municipalities, intergovernmental authorities, and a variety of other forms of local government is seeking a 3 plus years practicing attorney to join their busy practice. The Attorney should have 3 plus years of experience as a practicing attorney in the area of municipal, local government and special districts law, real property, contracts, public utilities operations or regulation, employment law, risk management, legislation, and public finance, and/or prior experience as a judicial law clerk or government law clerk researching local government issues. The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years' experience in a law firm or government position working on matters related to Title 32 special districts; municipalities; business improvement districts; public utilities; or county and state government. We will consider other comparable experience, such as land use; real estate; public/private partnerships; employment law; and public finance. The ideal Attorney would be responsible for handling a broad range of legal matters involving municipal, local government and special district law. Work involves research, writing, and applying legal knowledge and skills to various municipal and special district matters, including land use and real estate transactions, public finance, and intergovernmental agreements. Assignments are generally performed within an established procedural framework and/or directed by the Partners. Availability for evening meetings and travel within Colorado is required. 　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

　　Background working with municipal bond financing

　　Foundational knowledge in Business to government (B2G)

　　Experience with corporate & commercial

　　Good understanding of Municipal Laws

　　Demonstrated knowledge of government contracts

　　Municipal courts experience highly preferred

　　Practical knowledge of Government compliance

　　Adeptness in government bonds

　　Experience with State government

　　General familiarity with Government Filings

　　Commercial real estate experience highly valued

　　Hands-on experience with corporate secretarial function

　　Deep understanding of Federal Government

　　Comprehension of commercial real estate

　　Previous experience working with Municipalities

　　County government experience desired

　　Earlier work involving municipal bonds

　　Command of government agencies & programs

　　Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

　　Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　Great attention to detail

　　Licensed attorney with 3+ years of experience
