Committed to advancing excellence and equity in education, the Graduate School of Education (GSE) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick seeks outstanding scholars to join the school and to help advance our three thematic strategic plan priority areas of diversity, equity, and social justice, STEM in education, and effective teaching and learning. Accordingly, we seek two tenure-track faculty colleagues whose research expertise is in quantitative methods with demonstrated scholarship and engagement with issues of diversity, equity, and social justice in preK-20 education: 1) Associate/Full Professor and 2) Assistant/Associate Professor to join the school and Rutgers program faculty in the Department of Educational Psychology. Major Responsibilities: The scholars filling these positions will conduct a research and publication agenda that advances Rutgers Graduate School of Education's pursuit of advancing excellence and equity in education; demonstrate scholarly productivity by publishing in peer- reviewed journals in the field of quantitative methods, securing external research support, and presenting at national and international scholarly conferences; contribute to the success of programs across the GSE; participate in program development and innovation; and develop and teach quantitative methods courses. We are specifically interested in scholars with expertise and experience in assessment, evaluation, educational measurement, and statistics, including quantitative modeling and/or statistical theory in the social and behavioral sciences, psychometrics, and/or multilevel analysis, or developing new methods for educational measurement, evaluation, and statistics. Priority will be given to scholars who can demonstrate a commitment to equity and social justice. The scholars filling these positions will provide leadership that draws and builds on current and emerging methods in quantitative research and advise students including doctoral students in our Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs; serve as a methodological resource and partner to student and colleagues, participate actively in local, state, and national professional organizations; and contribute to the service missions of the Graduate School of Education and the university.Our School and University strongly encourage applications from individuals who are members of groups that have been and still are underrepresented in university faculty positions.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience for each respective position.Subject to the availability of funding, the position will begin September 1, 2024.Inquiries about the position should be directed to the Search Committee Co-chairs: Dr. Angela O'Donnell at and Dr. Nichole Garcia at

Minimum Education and Experience
We seek candidates for two tenured-track positions: 1) Associate/Full Professor and 2) Assistant/Associate Professor. Applicants for both positions are required to have earned a doctoral degree from an accredited major research university with a specialization in educational measurement, evaluation, or statistical methods and a demonstrated record of scholarly excellence and accomplishments that merits appointment at the rank of Associate/Full Professor with tenure or Associate Professor with tenure or Assistant Professor on a tenure-track.Among the qualifications needed are scholarly accomplishments, evidence of effective teaching at the university level, and commitment to a strong, productive, and externally funded research program. In screening applicants, we will be looking for evidence of demonstrated, or developing, commitment to addressing diversity, equity, and social justice issues in preK-20 education as highly desirable.
