What you’ll do
The Associate Vice President, Modern Work Place, leads the End User services platforms responsible for the strategy, enterprise direction for both hardware and software within the enterprise, as well as owning overall SLA Management reporting of delivered services and building out an End User Experience within the Enterprise Infrastructure Services support groups. The AVP champions the adoption and consistent use of the related processes and tools by the product and project teams.
The AVP will also drive the transformation roadmap for the modern work capabilities. The AVP serves in an important operational capacity as a point of escalation for the team and as an advisor to executives. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Infrastructure Services, you will be a key member of the team and help set the strategic direction for the overall End User Services while leading our multiple and support desk teams and capabilities into the future.
Provide people and process leadership and foster a collaborative, pragmatic, and innovative team environment.
Be a trusted technology advisor with a focus on achieving business outcomes, and ensure processes are user-friendly, effective, and efficient.
Ensure end-user services operate within expected service levels and provide regular reporting on the health and progress of all production services, identifying areas for improvement and investment.
Create a framework to modernize our end user services with a focus on innovation and cost management.
Incorporate feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement of the related processes and tools.
Establish a cross functional AVP working group to define appropriate metrics for our vendors, that can be added to vendor performance scorecards regarding SLA’s.
Define, build, and introduce the next level of automated monitoring, for our services including but not limited O365, collaboration and security tooling.
Define metrics and proactively monitor and report monthly on SLA management of all end user production systems and support services.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous delivery of a new End User services.
Ensure the team has the appropriate staffing levels, training, and expertise to meet the needs of the product and project teams and to achieve agreed-to service levels.
Foster a learning environment among the teams, creating a technical career roadmap within the end user space.
What you bring
10+ years’ experience in a technology environment with progressive leadership roles.
Ability to exercise effective independent judgment to deliver business results in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to build credibility and collaboration, including developing effective cross-organizational and vendor relationships.
Ability to inspire and coach technical teams to reach their full potential.
Comfortable using data to inform decision-making process and ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
Top candidates will have knowledge of retail and/or banking and/or automotive applications and related hardware platforms, ITIL operations support best practices, and cybersecurity experience.
