VCA SylvaniaVET Animal Hospital, located just outside Toledo, OH, is a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice with a collaborative and supportive team. Our hospital boasts a state-of-the-art, 16,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with:
2 operating rooms and a dental suite with 2 wet tables
A special procedure room and 2 treatment areas (separated for feline and canine patients)
9 exam rooms and advanced diagnostic tools, including a top-of-the-line ultrasound machine
Orthopedic surgeries (fracture and cruciate repairs), emergency services , and transfusion medicine
Holistic care options like acupuncture, laser therapy, and hydrotherapy
We are proud to be part of the Cat Friendly Practice program, making veterinary care less stressful for cats and their caregivers.
Our highly trained team includes 14 Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) who work alongside our doctors to deliver exceptional patient care. We foster a team-oriented approach where our technicians are empowered to utilize their skills, think critically, and continue their education.

Compensation
Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week.
This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
Licensure in good standing to practice in (OH), or the ability to obtain
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
