　　Job Description

　　We’re looking for an Associate Engineer to work on Major Civils projects of a tunnelling nature at all levels to join our team in Croydon, with an exciting and growing project portfolio, there is no better time to join us!

　　Serves as a lead Engineer on major projects within discipline area

　　You will provide specialized technical input to studies and design to complete all stages of design from feasibility to detailed designs.

　　Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.

　　You will run the interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

　　Has good understanding of the rules for detailing reinforced concrete structures

　　You will perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

　　Prepares technical specification sections.

　　Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

　　Presents complex technical solutions to clients.

　　Participates in development of technical proposals.

　　Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

　　Qualifications

　　We recognise a variety of experience and backgrounds may suit this role and that experience levels in specific technical areas may vary. If you feel you only meet some of the requirements below or have transferrable skills, we would still love to hear from you!

　　You will ideally be educated to degree level in Civil or Civil & Structural Engineering, and/ or have MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics/Geotechnical/Tunnelling Engineering, coupled with a professional membership.

　　You will have broad experience as a designer in Reinforced Concrete to Eurocodes in relation to underground structures such as secant piles, capping beams, segmental shaft linings, in situ concrete structural elements, D-Walls, shafts and tunnels.

　　A Civil or Structural Engineer with good familiarity of Geotechnical Engineering principles as they apply to soil-structure interaction:
