LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES – 41 O’Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450;Eastern Monroe Career Center

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month Position, Part Time (11:00 am -2:45 pm)

STARTING DATE: September 2025

SALARY RANGE: $21.73 - $34.01 per hour

*Actual salary is dependent upon education, experience, and contract.

We have an opening for a part-time Associate Teacher. Do you have an artistic background with experience in visual arts? Do you want to give back by working with high school students who represent the future workforce? Look no further! We are looking for a motivated and energetic person to serve as the Associate Teacher for our Visual Communications and Photography Program.

DUTIES:

Assist teacher in providing instruction to high school students preparing for careers or further education in visual communication photography.

Assist teacher in maintaining student records, such as discipline, attendance, and grades.

Attend staff meetings and professional development activities.

Other duties as determined by the classroom teacher or building administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years’ experience in the visual communication photography industry.

Must have valid NYS Teaching Assistant certification or willingness to complete.

Current knowledge of apple computers and software is preferred.

Excellent application of graphic software skills, Adobe knowledge preferred.

Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation.)
