Job Description:

　　There is an exciting opportunity to join the R&D team as our next Quality Assurance Specialist. This role is accountable for driving the quality agenda and leading implementation and governance of all Quality and Food Safety requirements. The objective of this role is to achieve and maintain a high standard of food safety performance.

　　What are we looking for?

　　Degree in Food Science, Engineering or Chemistry and 0 - 1 years of experience in fast paced manufacturing environment OR 4 - 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree

　　Experience in a food manufacturing environment or food retail business working in a quality, food safety or process/product development.

　　Demonstrated experience of risk based decision making

　　Ability to collaborate and influence cross functionally to achieve objectives

　　Energy to learn, grow, and develop your skills

　　What will be your key responsibilities?

　　Management of the Food Safety Program within the factory including achieving compliance to Mars Global Quality and Food Safety HACCP standard.

　　Responsible for ensuring key initiatives of Quality and Food Safety agenda are embedded into the factory

　　Development of tools, systems, processes, and training material to support achieving quality food safety across the site.

　　Liaise with all departments in the factory to ensure food safety and quality issues are addressed within agreed timeframes, including after hours on-call rotation.

　　Working with the Supply team to ensure audit standards are met and exceeded on site.
