Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
Manage the existing portfolio of food ingredient products, evaluating performance and identifying opportunities for improvement or expansion.
Develop and implement strategies for product lifecycle management.
Innovation & Expansion
Work with the cross-functional team to develop innovative solutions and expand platform offerings and pricing strategy to maximize market share and gross margin growth on an annual basis and exceed revenue/gross margin targets.
Product champion to develop market penetration strategy and execute plans. Support expansion and growth to ensure the timely delivery of product initiatives.
Devise go-to-market strategy and oversee product line lifecycles from strategic planning to tactical activities within Asia region
Conduct market analysis to monitor competitive products, sales, share and marketing activities; deploy segment knowledge and insights to create strategy for business growth.
Marketing & Communication
Develop and manage a consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Translate technical research data into engaging sales tools and marketing collaterals.
Provide marketing expertise, support, and education to the entire commercial team for successful sales outcomes.
Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.
Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Plan and coordinate market engagement activities such as seminar and exposition.
Qualifications
Attributes
A highly motivated and results-driven marketing professional with a good understanding of the chemical and biological sciences.
Must be proactive with a broad technical aptitude base who is able to provide set priorities, delegate responsibilities, and meet timetables leading to the attainment of growth goals.
Strong financial & data skills; especially the ability to analytically evaluate and understand product costs and make data-driven decisions.
Creative thinker, possess excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experiences
Experience as an effective project team player and possess the ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management.
Bachelor’s Degree, in Marketing / Chemistry or any other related disciplines;
Minimum 3 years of experience in portfolio/product management. Experience in additives or food ingredients is an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese.
Proficient in digital marketing platforms and tools.
