Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team in Woodridge, IL.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77,249 - $113,299 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Associate Product Manager will be partnering with a product Manager to undertake projects in any one of our other categories. Responsibilities will include new product launches, market research, the generation and maintenance of product information, technical specs, sales material, cross-reference tables, web content, application notes, training materials and product announcements.
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for a special transition project. This project involves managing the transition of existing cabling products so that they can be sold in Europe. Includes the updating of all packaging, the certifications and the documentation in order to comply with the CE requirements.
This role will work with the Team Supervisor on the special project and with select Product Managers in the development, growth, and expansion of the connectivity and peripherals portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Management of transition project for CE compliance
Work closely with marketing, graphics, engineering and suppliers in order to keep the project on track and to ensure all phases of the transition are completed.
Review documentation and packaging for compliance to predetermined requirements
Support new product initiatives.
Processing and keeping track of Engineering Change Notices as directed
Undertake the generation and maintenance of product information, technical specs, sales material, cross-reference tables, web content, application notes and product announcements.
Assist in the new product development process. Could include market research, product setup, creation of manuals, packaging, artwork, engineering specifications, FAQs, web texts and product timetables.
Communicate with off-shore factories to initiate or following-up on request for materials, documentation, schematics, specifications and samples
Support existing business
Provide support materials to product support and presales teams
Help maintain accurate product data on our website and on our engineering website
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum 4 years Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Engineering
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Woodridge, IL. will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, marketing or business
Experience in IT or cabling industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with different departments in an organization
Product and application knowledge in cabling or computer peripherals
Strong executive presence
Solid negotiation skills and knowledge of marketing techniques including experience in sales
Results-oriented
Skills:
Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
Must be able to work well in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers
