　　At Kohl’s, we are customer-obsessed, constantly looking to add value to their experiences and keeping them at the center of every decision we make. As an Associate Merchant you will own product strategy and buying decisions, ensuring we have the best product mix for both in stores and online.

　　What you’ll own

　　As an Associate Merchant you will be product-obsessed and create and drive a customer-focused merchandising vision and business strategy to meet sub-category goals. You will set overarching category assortment vision into business strategy by incorporating customer insights, competition, category trends, and hindsights. These insights will help you to drive innovation and make bold trade offs to maximize sub-category and brand.

　　How you’ll work

　　While you’ll have direct ownership of product strategy and buying decisions, this role is highly collaborative. You’ll partner with teams such as planning, store experience, strategic pricing, and design and own vendor and brand relationships.

　　You’ll also have the opportunity to coach others in more junior roles, such as guiding the Assistant Merchant in the execution and in season management of pricing, as well as the product selection strategy and process for Marketing.

　　Who you are

　　You have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Additionally, some capabilities that contribute to your success in this role:
