What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically rigorous In Vivo Pharmacologist to join the Cardiometabolic Research group. In this vital role, you will support pre-clinical development by evaluating therapeutic candidates in animal models of metabolic diseases.
Responsibilities include:
Animal husbandry duties
Administration of drug candidates, blood collection, tissue collection and processing meticulous record keeping.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree OR
Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR
High school diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience AND
Foundational knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts to perform routine work in role
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in small animal handling and care
Excellent communicator, able to write and speak about technical concepts
Experience in administration of drug candidates to rodents
Experience collecting blood and tissue from rodents
Experience processing blood and tissue from rodents for use by the in vitro team
Experience with record-keeping skills such as maintaining laboratory notebooks.
