Position Summary: We are recruiting for an Associate Embedded Engineer to join our rapidly growing Product Development team located in the Minneapolis, MN location. As an integral part of our development team, you will work closely with our engineers to develop software for our next generation Inspire products. Responsibilities: Build and deploy embedded software of the highest quality using C++, C#, Python, and/or other supporting languages Support the development of new systems and the maintenance of existing systems Author unit, integration, verification, and validation tests, including manual and automated methodologies Build and validate software tools Assist with system, software, security, and risk management documentation business requirements are met in the course of product development and market delivery Support post market (commercial) product and/or therapy related investigations as well as CAPA activities and implementations Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline and/or equivalent experience 1+ years of software development experience, including development experience utilizing Python, .NET, C#, and/or C++ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership Preferred Qualifications: Advanced level degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline Class III medical device experience Previous experience developing embedded software Additional development experience utilizing .NET, C#, and/or C++ Inspire Medical Systems provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, status with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state and local laws.
